Content Creator

Unapologetic Foods is looking for a Content Creator whose primary job is to make exceptional content. This role is for someone with a sharp eye, strong hands-on editing skills, and a deep understanding of how food, culture, and storytelling move people on social platforms. You are here to capture, create, edit, and push visual storytelling forward across our brands—most heavily on Instagram and TikTok, while exploring emerging and underutilized platforms as opportunities arise.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Capture high-quality photo and video content across Unapologetic Foods’
• restaurants, events, collaborations, and kitchens
• Edit and deliver compelling short-form video optimized for Instagram Reels and TikTok
• (with platform-specific nuance)
• Develop original content ideas that balance culture, food, people, and context, not
• just trends
• Thoughtfully and selectively integrate social media trends, but never at the expense of
• brand voice or story
• Confidently use voiceover, text overlays, pacing, music and sound when
• appropriate to elevate storytelling
• Translate food, technique, atmosphere, and energy into visually arresting content
• Work closely with the Digital Media Manager to build and execute monthly content
• schedules across platforms
• Support launches, collaborations, special events, and promotions with intentional,
• story-driven content
• Track performance and analytics, using insights to refine creative direction and
• improve results over time
• Consistently deliver content that shows measurable growth, engagement, and momentum

Required skills and expertise:

• You care more about story than spectacle
• You understand that trends are tools, not the final product
• You’re visually literate and culturally fluent
• You bring a point of view, not just execution
• You’re excited by what Unapologetic Foods is building across its brands and you want to help shape how it’s seen, felt, and understood
• 3+ years of professional content creation experience within hospitality, food, media, or a closely related space
• Proven success in moving the needle—growth, reach, engagement, and resonance
• Strong skills in photography and videography, with an intuitive sense of framing, light, motion, and timing
• Advanced editing ability using tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, CapCut, Canva, and similar platforms
• Comfort working across content systems and workflows including Asana, Dropbox, Later, and related tools
• A deep, genuine passion for restaurants, food culture, and culinary storytelling
• An understanding of analytics that goes beyond vanity metrics (you know how to read performance and respond creatively)
• The ability to meet (and beat) deadlines without sacrificing quality
• An obsessive attention to detail and a habit of asking, “What else?”

The base salary range for this position is $70,000-$75,000 annually depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), PTO and dining discounts.
